Dear Friends,

Over 25 years ago, I arrived in Belize as the son of a diplomat. As an economics student with a deep passion for data and statistics, one of the first things I did upon learning about the move was to search for economic data on Belize. To my surprise, Belize was not listed in any of the pre-internet economic indexes and publications I consulted. This lack of information sparked a curiosity and drive in me that would shape my future endeavors.

I was no stranger to new environments and challenges. However, moving to Belize was different. Here, I saw a vibrant and developing country that, despite its potential, lacked accessible economic data. This realization stayed with me throughout my academic and professional journey.

Over the years, I witnessed Belize’s growth. The establishment of several official bodies dedicated to collecting and publishing country statistics marked significant progress. Yet, despite these advancements, I identified a persistent gap: the need for a commercial solution tailored for business professionals and entrepreneurs seeking agile market research.

Driven by this vision, I founded Opinions.bz.
